2006 STATE CONFERENCE DETAILS AND PROGRAM SCHEDULE
   

The Association of Mexican American Educators cordially invites all students, educators and those with interests in the field of education to the 2006 Annual State Conference at:

Theme and Program

The Theme for this year's conference will be "Strategies for Educating the Latino Student" with educators from around the country presenting a variety of workshops designed to improve the learning experience for Latino students and addressing the issues facing Latino students' performance in the public school system today.

Among the speakers for this year are Sal Castro, a founding member of AMAE and whose vision and energy has motivated thousands of Latino students to graduate from high school and college, and pursue a wide range of professions, and Dr. Arturo Delgado, who leads California's sixth largest school district.
