The Future: The Second Half
As we enter 1985 and our twentieth year of existence, we have learned from our experiences, we still have goals and priorities, and we still have a committed group of AMAE members to work on the problems. It is this renewal of leadership and renewal of interest and commitment that keep us going.
Dr. Garay served as a Thirteenth President of AMAE. He has earned degrees from East Los Angeles College, UCLA, and USC. He also studied at the University of Hawaii and in Kyoto, Japan. In 1983, he was a candidate for the Los Angeles Board of Education.
