We're planning on partnering up with local chapters for cultural events.
The San Fernando Valley Chapter hosted AMAE's 45th Annual State Conference. It was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood in January 2011. An AMAE Presidents' Reception was held honoring founder Dr. Phil Montes.
Keynote Speakers included Dr. William Perez from Chapman University and Dr. Antonia Dardar from Loyola Marymount University. The Homyenaje Award was presented Dr. Teresa Montano from CSUN. A variety of workshops were provided and the luncheon entertainment was provided by the San Fernando Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico from CSUN, and El Niño Consentido.
